Chenango Point Bikes is removing the chains, saying that is how they clean and/or lubricate them, then taking old chains out of a bath and putting those on. The old chain ruins every single tooth on every single gear on the bike! The chain that was on the bike originally is probably worth three times as much as the one they put on; thus they are probably selling those good chains. You cannot fix what was done to it by riding it with that chain. I repeat once again, the bike had 2,500 miles on it, and it was ruined by a chain with @ 10,000 miles on it. There is no recovery for the drive chain! It is Second Degree Assault to take a chain off and not inform the owner that was done. I've also been told not to talk about English Jews. Why not? None of them will admit that they are English Jews, especially after I revealed what happened in the Potato Famine. FIRE? RAIN? THE CHOICE REMAINS!

Bringing the "rains of righteousness" to drought-stricken areas.

Excerpts from 9/1/95 article in answer to the fires and drought in Florida and elsewhere:

"..I do believe that there is a need to hold up as examples selected targets of God's wrath, so that "all mankind will proclaim the work of God and ponder what He has done"(Ps.64:9), for "God's wisdom, secret and hidden, which God decreed before the ages for our glory"(1Cor.2:7) is being revealed. I can't think of any targeted groups more appropriate for this than those "men who suppress the truth by their wickedness" (Rom.1:18), particularly those who have suppressed the truth contained in my writings, preventing the "rains of righteousness" (Is.45:8) from falling on a significant portion of this country. "Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these things but also approve of those who practice them" (Rom.1:32); therefore God says, "I shall certainly bring home its own badness upon the productive land, and their own error upon the wicked themselves" (Is.13:11)

The recent fires are an example of how God's wrath against these groups will be manifested. "Their condemnation has long been hanging over them"(2Peter2:3); and "the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgement and destruction of ungodly men"(2Peter3:7) Drought-stricken areas have dried up because there has been a concerted effort in those areas to suppress the truth that I have written of. In many cases they have promoted falsehoods to counter the substance of my writings. The fire and wind that may soon consume such areas cannot be warded off with lies and Jewish myths! Although the belated publication of the truth may save some areas, the manifestation of God's righteous decree and/or the promotion of other components of God's plan may be the only things that can save those areas that continue to suppress the truth.

No one can suppress the truth without being found out, for the evil ones take special delight in relating tales of their exploits to one another. "The mouth of the fool invites ruin" (Prov.10:14). "An evil man is trapped by his sinful talk"(Prov.12:13). "The one chasing after what is bad is in line for his own death" (Prov.11:19). "Wickedness overthrows the sinner" (Prov.13:6). Those who are behind this suppression will be exposed, for there is "nothing hidden, which shall not be manifested" (Mark4:22).

Once it becomes clear that God is prepared to torch all of the drought-stricken areas of this country, I believe that it will be revealed who has been behind the suppression of the truth contained in my writings. I medici antivivisezionisti partono dalla semplice ed oggettiva constatazione che gli animali non sono modelli sperimentali adatti all'uomo, perché troppo diversi da noi.
Ogni specie animale è infatti biologicamente, fisiologicamente, geneticamente, anatomicamente molto diversa dalle altre e le estrapolazioni dei dati tra una specie e l'altra sono impossibili. I veri progressi della medicina si sono sempre avuti grazie a osservazioni cliniche, a studi epidemiologici, a innovazioni tecnologiche (quali l'invenzione del microscopio, dei moderni strumenti di diagnosi, ecc.).
In particolare, per quanto riguarda il cancro, dato un certo composto chimico il tipo di tumore che genera sarà nell'uomo e nelle altre specie.
La benzedrina, per esempio, causa tumore alla vescica negli umani, tumore al fegato nei criceti, e tumori alle orecchie nei ratti.
La storia dello studio del cancro (come del resto accade per lo studio di tutte le altre malattie) è costellata di casi in cui sono state compiute importanti scoperte cliniche (cioè dall'esame da parte dei medici di esseri umani malati, o dalle autopsie) o epidemiologiche (cioè dallo studio di larghe fasce di popolazione), scoperte che si e' poi voluto "validare" sugli animali da laboratorio. Riproponendole così, nei casi in cui in qualche specie si riusciva a riprodurre lo stesso risultato, come "scoperte dovute alla ricerca su animali".
Negli altri casi, ritardando semplicemente l'applicazione di tali scoperte, e causando così danni enormi al progresso medico.
Per esempio, i topi vanno molto soggetti ai tumori alle ghiandole mammarie, al fegato, alla pituitaria, alla tiroide, ai polmoni e al sistema linfatico, e vengono dunque usati come modello per lo studio di questo genere di tumori nell'uomo.
Ma anche se sono localizzati nelle stesse regioni, non sono lo stesso cancro. Inoltre, nei topi l'incidenza di questi cancri è così alta che è difficile stabilire se è stato il prodotto chimico sotto test a causare il cancro o se si è formato spontaneamente.
Viceversa, altri tumori comuni nell'uomo, come quelli alla prostata, al colon, al retto, sono rari nei roditori, e quindi è molto difficile per i ricercatori riprodurli negli animali, e quando ci riescono si sviluppano tumori molto diversi. Ad esempio, il tumore al colon uccide i ratti per ostruzione del colon stesso.
Negli uomini esso uccide per metastasi in tutte le altre parti del corpo.
Il tumore all'intestino, nel ratto, di solito non si diffonde, è l'intestino tenue a essere colpito, mentre negli umani è molto più frequentemente colpito il colon. Nonostante queste enormi differenze tra specie, entrambi questi tipi di cancro vengono chiamati "cancro al colon", e si investono miliardi per i test sui ratti per ottenere informazioni che mai potranno essere applicate all'uomo.

According to my opinion, there is no reason whatsoever to celebrate the 60 anniversary of the State of Israel [1]

The proclamation:

First, the State of Israel has been founded as a neo-colonialistic enterprise, seeing the acceptation of UN General Assembly Resolution, 181, in 1947, the socalled ''Partition Plan for Palestine'', without any voice for the native and rightful Palestinian population [2]

Moreover, the UN Resolution 181 was in contrary with the UN Charter regarding the rights of people on selfdetermination

Secondly, due to the onesided proclamation of the State of Israel, by the former zionist politician, Mr D Ben Gurion, dd 14-5 and the following military confrontation between the Arab troops and the zionist troops, the humanitarian consequences for the Palestinian civilian population were disastrous

It is therefore no wonder, the Palestinians call this the Naqba, which means disaster

The onesided proclamation of the State of Israel, by the Israeli politician Mr D Ben Gurion, was the result of the General Assembly UN Resolution, nr 181, dd 1947, by which the members of the UN [3] decided to the 'partition of the British Mandate Palestine, in a Jewish and an Arab part
Jerusalem was decided to have an international status

Palestine of 1947 is comparable geographically with Israel now, together with the occupied Palestinian territories

Altough there was a passage in the Declaration, that that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine'', by accepting a ''Jewish National Home'' in the country of another people, the rights on selfdetermination of the Palestinian people were seriously violated

Even according to the colonial thought of that time, after the depart of the colonial occupation, the political and judicial power of the country should befell to the native population, in an independent Palestine

This is how it happened in African and Asian colonies and also in Middle Eastern countries like Iraq, Lebanon and Syria and the preparation for the independence of Palestine was also established in the Mandatory order of Palestine, which Great Britain officially got from the ''League of Nations' [5]

However, because of the Balfour Declaration, the whole concept of Palestinian self-determination had been undermined

As well by means of the Balfour Declaration, as later, UN Resolution 181, behind the back of the Palestinian people, a part their country was being given to pioneers, who came from Europe, without any legal right to the country

The writer Koestler says about this Balfour Declaration:

'With the Balfour Declaration, one nation solemnly promised to a second nation the country of a third."

Therefore it is not astonishing, that the Balfour-Declaration and the zionistic aspirations and the British colonial role of divide and rule, provoked resistance in the Palestinian society

Humanitarian implications of the war in 1948:

The consequences of the acceptance of Resolution 181, dd 1947 and the onesided proclamation of the State of Israel, led to a war between the Israeli troops and the Palestinian and Arab troops, by which human rights violations and war-crimes were committed, on both sides [6]

Also of importance is to realize, that the Israeli military offensive, Plan Dalet, had the aim of expulsion of the Palestinian people and destroying as many as Arab villages

Referring to that occupation, I quote the ''introduction'' to Plan Dalet:

´´a) "The objective of this plan is to gain control of the areas of the Hebrew state and defend its borders. It also aims at gaining control of the areas of Jewish settlements and concentration which are located outside the borders (of the Hebrew state) against regular, semi-regular, and small forces operating from bases outside or inside the state.´´

Regarding the deliberate destruction of Arab villages I quote Section B of the Plan:

´´Destruction of villages (setting fire to, blowing up, and planting mines in the debris), especially those population centers which are difficult to control continuously. ... Mounting search and control operations according to the following guidelines: encirclement of the village and conducting a search inside it. In the event of resistance, the armed force must be destroyed and the population expelled outside the borders of the state. ´´ [7]

Etnic cleansings:

One of the most dramatic was the expulsion, by Israeli troops, of more than 750.000 Palestinian inhabitants, from their homes and land

In terms of International Law, those are etnic cleansings, which are strictly forbidden according International Law, article 49, 4th Geneva Convention [8]
This has formed the basis of the Palestinian refugee-problem

Despite the General Assembly UN resolution 194, dd 1948, which summoned Israel, to make those people return to their homes or else give them a financial compensation, either the first [make them return], nor the second [financial compensation] has been executed [9]

Consequence is that those people are condemned to a desperate existence in one of the many refugee-camps

Mass-slaughters:

Moreover, a number of mass-slaughters in the Palestinian Arab villages, by Israeli paramilitary terrorgroups [like Irgun and Stern] have taken place [10]
More than 400 Arab villages have been destroyed

Occupation, from the very beginning:

Israeli troops also conquered 20 percent of the areas, which according to Resolution 181, were the Arab part

The rest of Palestine has been conquered by the Kingdom of Jordan [West-Bank] and Egypt'[Gaza] [11]

Israeli arbitrary military attacks:

Israeli crimes during the occupation mostly take form in arbitrary military attacks in dense populated areas or other civilian areas like refugee-camps, which is a serious violation of International Humanitarian Law

According tio International Humanitarian Law, all conflict parties, are obliged to make at all times, a strict distinction between combatants [military and fighters] and non-combatants [civilians] [14]

When there is no clear situation, for example the presence of fighters in civilian areas, which is often the case by Israeli military attacks, all measures should be taken to protect the civilian population
This is also the fundamental obligation, under the 4th Geneva Convention, of the Occupying Power, which is responsable for the safety, wellfare and wellbeing of ''protected persons'' [people, who are living under an occupation)

It is obvious, that the protection seriously fails, by the use of anti-personnel weapons like clusterbombs or F 16's [which is forbidden according to International Law], and firing at homes and in other population areas.

The result is often, many civilian victims, which are war-crimes, since the risk of civilian death could have been foreseen. [15]

This also is the case, according to the Isaeli practice of liquidations of leaders or activists of Palestinian political organisations.
Not only are those liquidations illegal according to International Law, mostly the results are many civilian victims, since the liquidations are executed by bombing refugee-camps, appartments or air-attacks on dense-populated streets.

Punishment for war-crimes:

Not only those military practices stem from a total lack of respect for the right on life of Palestinian civilians, also individual military war-crimes, like shooting civilians [among else, children] or journalists, seldom are punished according to International standards
In some cases, there is whether a light prison punishment of a couple of months, or a sum of money, which have to be paid to the IDF, for breaking the ''military honour code''

In some cases, there is no trial at all [16]

Settlements:

Of great importance to be mentioned is the foundation, from the end of the sixties of the former century, of Israeli settlements in occupied Palestinian territories
Not only this is illegal according to International Law [17], moreover, the settlements are based on mass land expopriations, by which more than 100.000 Palestinians have lost land and homes
Yet apart from the utter inhumanity, those expropriations are contrary with the fundamental rules of the 4th Geneva Convention, that an occupying Power is responsable for the safety, wellfare and wellbeing of ''protected persons'' [people, who are living under an occupation)

Despite international condemnation of the settlements, resulting in two UN Security Resolutions, one in 1979 [nr 446] and the other in 1980 [465], Israel has continued the building of the settlements.

Also Israel didn't respond the agreements in the Roadmap for Peace, to freeze the expansion of the settlements, since untill now, there is an expansion in the West Bank and Eastern-Jerusalem

It may be obvious, that ''60 years Israel'', which is celebrating with such an enthousiasm in Israel, supported by certain Western leaders, is a mourning day for the Palestinians

With the right on their side, they consider the ''foundation'' of the State of Israel, stemming from the colonial zionism, as a Naqba [disaster]

Not only in respect with the etnical cleansings and mass-slaughters in 1948, but also in respect with the occupation of their land, which is being suffered every day again

ESTADO UNIDOS EL CAMINO A LA IMPUNIDAD DE LOS CRIMENES DE LESA HUMANIDAD COMETIDOS EN COLOMBIA

La extradición primero de 'Macaco' o 'Javier Montañez', y posteriormente de un grupo de 14 en donde esta Mancuso, Gordolindo, Don Berna, Jorge 40, Cuco, Pablo Sevillano, el Tuso, el Mello, Hernán Giraldo Serna, Nodier Giraldo Giraldo, Eduardo Enrique Bengoechea, Martín Peñaranda, y Eduardo Enrique Goynechea, que se encontraban incluidos en el proceso de Justicia y Paz, bajo el argumento de que no estaban entregando la verdad, tampoco sus bienes para la reparación y, además seguían promoviendo grupos armados ilegales y acciones ilegales,- nada nuevo-. Demuestra una vez más que el proceso de paz con los paramilitares, fue un montaje de grandes dimensiones que se le salió de las manos a este gobierno.

Las declaraciones del alto comisionado advertían esta decisión, la crisis política de este país no sólo enloda al gabinete presidencial, al ejercito nacional, dirigentes del sector privado, al congreso y es la muerte certera a varios de los partidos uribistas, sino que ya evidenciaba los nexos directos del paramilitarismo con el presidente. La extradición de la cúpula paramilitar era un salvoconducto del presidente a corto plazo para que esta pueda continuar con este proyecto uribista, bien con la idea de la reelección o bien con la proyección de alguno de sus "incondicionales" -limpios-. Pero también, es un golpe a la Justicia colombiana, a las Cortes y la justicia ordinaria. Como es de esperarse Uribe no da puntada sin dedal, tiene claro su aliado. El gobierno de EEUU en su precipitada carrera de desprestigio de los últimos tiempos y su fracaso con su gestión con el TLC, tiene que demostrar sus grandes avances en estos temas, desestabilizando la región, y desde luego primando el tema que los vincula ellos "narcotráfico", por encima de los crímenes de lesa humanidad.

Berlusconi de nuevo en el poder

Finalmente los resultados de las elecciones al nuevo parlamento italiano le dieron una amplia victoria a la coalición formada por el Popolo della Libertá, Allianza Nazionale e La Lega Nord, llevando como primer ministro al Magnate televisivo Silvio Berlusconi. Un alerta con la duplicación de los votos de la xenofoba Lega Nord de Bossi. Un fracaso de la centroizquierda que gobernó Italia para la Confindustria (burguesía industrial) y un entierro para Refundación Comunista (en Sinistra Arcobaleno) que fue parte del gobierno de centroizquierda. En una economía de crecimiento casi cero, se vienen más ajustes para una clase trabajadora de gran tradición de lucha. La izquierda anticapitalista fragmentada por su sectarismo y autosuficiencia, carente de una política de reagrupamiento serio, no fue una alternativa.

¿Un resultado esperado?

Sí, porque el descalabro del gobierno Prodi intentando aplicar un brutal ataque al conjunto de la clase trabajadora, con el respaldo en su interior de la izquierda de Refundación Comunista defraudó a una parte importante de la clase obrera y sectores populares que se inclinaron por castigarlos dándole su voto a la derecha. Sí, porque la Izquierda ni siquiera intentó unificarse para presentar un polo alternativo. Refundación Comunista con otros partidos se presentó como la Sinistra Arcobaleno intentando recuperar una identidad que ya sepultó luego de años de cortejo fúnebre con la centroizquierda industrialista (PD: Partito Democrático de Veltroni), perdiendo casi tres millones de votos en el camino. “La Izquierda Arcobaleno pagó muy caro el costo de dos años de gobierno con el cual no han llevado a casa nada de eso que esperaban sus electores y su gente. Así perdió consenso a izquierda, en el abstencionismo y - si bien en menor medida - hacia listas menores. Después fue penalizada por la lógica del «voto útil» (para votar contra Berlusconi) desangrándose hacia el Pd” Il Manifesto, 15/4/2008. Al fin y al cabo eran parte de lo mismo y le facilitó las cosas a la derecha.

El boom Bossi

Lo que tal vez no se esperaba tanto era el caudal electoral que sacó la Lega Nord. El “Carroccio”, como le dicen al partido de Bossi, resultó ser el partido más fuerte en decisivas ciudades del norte. Tanto golpeó la Lega Nord que en el distrito electoral Véneto 1 (la mitad de la región Véneto) es la primera minoría con más del 30%. Lejos de tener a la UDC (Union Democristiana de Centro) que solo arañó el 5% demostrando el ocaso definitivo de la vieja DC amparada en el Vaticano, Berlusconi dependerá mucho de los acuerdos con Bossi, que ya anteriormente le provocó varias crisis a los gobiernos del “Cavalliere” y era visto como una “oposición” interna. En el norte, la Lega capitalizó fuertemente a los descontentos del gobierno Prodi y le restó votos también al partido de Berlusconi que debe ser lo único que no ha festejado. Esto es un llamado de atención muy importante ya que un sector de clase media se inclinó por una alternativa de derecha xenófoba que basa su programa en un autonomismo secesionista donde todos los males se concentran en el inmigrante extranjero o del sur de Italia que emigran al norte en busca de trabajo. También se debe a que tanto Berlusconi como la centroizquierda, muchas veces en el gobierno, agrandaron un espacio político que fue ocupado por la Lega Nord que nunca fue visto como “oficialista”. Este aspecto se reflejó también en pequeñas estructuras locales de la frontera norte de Italia en el Valle d'Aosta y el Trentino-Alto Adige donde fueron primeras minorías otras expresiones locales, obteniendo 1 y 2 diputados nacionales respectivamente. Los sucesivos gobiernos de Prodi o Berlusconi, permitieron que partidos locales se conviertan en una herramienta para poder castigar con el voto allí donde la gente los veía como una alternativa. Otro hecho muy importante fue que Roma, que nunca fue gobernada por la derecha desde el fin de la segunda guerra mundial, fuera arrebatada por ésta a la centro izquierda, generando un hecho inédito, aunque esto se combine más con un voto bronca. ¿Es un giro a la derecha?. Eso indican los votos y lo de Bossi fundamentalmente, pero en Italia no hay ningún partido que supere por sí solo el 40% de los votos, excepto en el ámbito regional o en una ciudad. También Le Pen en Francia tuvo su boom electoral años atrás. Hay que ver si se confirma en el próximo periodo como un giro a la derecha o es más la expresión de un voto bronca ante la situación de recesión que la derecha supo aprovechar. Sin embargo, no es culpa de los votantes o un mérito de la derecha exclusivamente, la izquierda italiana tuvo un papel muy importante para que esto ocurra.

La Izquierda anticapitalista no fue alternativa

Como señalamos antes, Refundación Comunista con Fausto Bertinotti a la cabeza fue la principal responsable por izquierda de los resultados. Pero tampoco la izquierda anticapitalista se presentó como una alternativa, que si bien no hubiera cambiado mucho los resultados más importantes, hubiera por lo menos sido un polo con el cual comenzar a “resucitar” a la “Sinistra”. Solo atinaron, separadas, a hacerle la guardia de honor. Lamentable papel de una autosuficiencia propia de quien se mira el ombligo echándole le culpa al otro del fracaso. El PCL (partito comunista dei lavoratori) del altamirista Marco Ferrando exultando ser el primer partido de la izquierda con el 0,6% de los votos es todo un paradigma. La Sinistra Critica del ex senador Turigliatto que sacó el 0,5% rechazando la unidad y el PdAC (Partito de Alternativa Comunista) de la Lit que solo desarrolla una política para sacarle militantes a los otros, fueron también los otros partícipes necesarios de un crimen político histórico en la izquierda italiana que por primera vez en 60 años no estará representada en el parlamento, como si esto fuese algo sin importancia.

Los movimientos sociales: los sin política

En Italia existen fuertes movimientos sociales que han desarrollado importantes movilizaciones contra la globalización capitalista y la guerra, contra la discriminación de la Iglesia, en solidaridad con los inmigrantes y con pueblos en lucha en el mundo. Estos movimientos sociales son dirigidos por sectores autonomistas, por horizontales anti partido, y en algunos casos anarquistas. No se puede hacer política en Italia ignorando esta realidad. De hecho, muchas movilizaciones arrastran a sectores independientes y participan también los partidos de izquierda. Incluso muchos sindicatos de base están impregnados de esta teoría y de esta práctica. Sus dirigentes muchas veces son los dirigentes de los movimientos sociales y sus luchas. La izquierda no ha sabido tener una política hacia ellos. Con su lógica sectaria y autoproclamatoria no han sabido leer el significado profundo de la existencia tanto de los sindicatos de base (fuertemente antiburócraticos pero con muchos rasgos burocráticos en su dirección) como el de infinidad de “centros sociales” donde muchos militantes -apunto: sociales- le escapan a los partidos y su lógica. Es el resultado histórico de haber tenido el partido stalinista (el PC italiano) “más grande de occidente”. Refundación Comunista con su periplo dentro de gobiernos de centroizquierda y el sectarismo de la izquierda anticapitalista nunca pudieron tener una política de unidad respetando las diferencias para que los movimientos sociales fuesen un actor político a la altura de sus propias e importantes movilizaciones. Pero es una responsabilidad compartida ya que el resultado de la política autonomista de la dirección de los movimientos sociales es también nefasta. Al no hacer de la política, sobre todo en el movimiento de masas, una herramienta de lucha cotidiana, sus reivindicaciones y métodos de lucha nunca logran echar raíces en sectores de masas que, huérfanos de política, quedan a merced de quienes sí la practican como los partidos del régimen tanto de derecha como de centroizquierda. Su política abstencionista en lo electoral favoreció claramente a la derecha.

No se acabaron las oportunidades

Con Berlusconi al gobierno surge un nuevo periodo. Envalentonado por el triunfo querrá descargar toda su artillería. Implementar una andanada de medidas contra la clase obrera y los sectores populares. Pero carece de algo con lo que sí contaba la centroizquierda en el gobierno: la alianza incondicional de las grandes confederaciones sindicales. Es como un gobierno de Menem sin la CGT de aliada. Tendrá que batallar mucho para lograr hacer un acuerdo con ellas. La burocracia es parte, casta al fin, de la clase obrera, su sector aristocrático y no tiene los mismo intereses que Berlusconi. Puede traicionar las luchas para salvarse ella misma porque si la clase obrera la derribara de los sillones sindicales sería su propio fin pero tampoco va a tolerar que el gobierno las perjudique. Esto va a generar muchas contradicciones que deberán ser aprovechadas. Por ejemplo, el presidente de la Confindustria, Luca de Montezemolo, declaró luego del triunfo de Berlusconi, que hay que prescindir de los sindicatos y tratar a los trabajadores individualmente, enterrando definitivamente los contratos colectivos. El primero que le salió al cruce fue Bossi, de la Lega Nord, diciendo que eso era un error garrafal. En fin, no faltarán éstas y otras contradicciones. Lo que seguro no va a faltar es la lucha de la clase obrera, que no recibió ninguna derrota histórica y está intacta para levantarse y dar batalla. Será así porque la crisis económica es profunda, casi recesiva y la receta es neoliberal. Es fundamental que la izquierda se meta en esas luchas con una política para que ganen y para salir de la crisis que se cierne. Una política que permita reconstruir la confianza de la clase obrera, los movimientos sociales y sindicatos de base en la izquierda anticapitalista y permita ir reagrupando a miles y miles que se debaten solos en todas las luchas pero que no tienen una política y una perspectiva organizativa nacional para enfrentar al tercer gobierno Berlusconi sin caer en la trampa bipartidista que quiere restablecer el régimen.

When any poorer American is charged with a Federal crime all legal costs and appeals are paid for,but when one is charged in the various 50 states and run out of higher court state appeal opportunities and need to appeal to the Federal courts,it appears that these poorer and mostly uneducated prison inmates are left to their own best lawyering skills to attempt to write a federal appeal that could sway a US Federal judge to grant them a new retrial.
Our US Congressional Representatives sleep soundly every night knowing there are reported to be an estimated 100,000 innocent Americans (some residing for decades)in our US Prisons who have been denied proper legal counsel to help them attempt to exonerate themselves with their Federal Appeals ??

Sergeant First Class Donald Buswell, the war hero who risked his career by challenging the official 9/11 story two years ago, at last speaks out in an interview published today by The Lone Star Iconoclast. Known to the 9/11 Truth Movement as "The 9/11 NCO," Buswell gives the inside details of his confrontation with the U.S. Army, in which he became a recruiting poster of sorts for 9/11 Truth, even while he was being accused of "disloyalty" by military investigators who wanted to put him on trial.

Stephen C. Webster, who broke the original Buswell story in The Iconoclast in the summer of 2006, has clearly developed a rapport with the self-described "average guy" military intelligence soldier whose training led him to question the very institutions he had loyally served for decades. In Webster's interview with him, Buswell emerges as the archetype of an American G.I. -- an ordinary man made heroic by extraordinary demands.

A month later Exxon Mobil's refinery in Baytown, Texas exploded on July 2, sending per barrel oil prices to all-time highs. Buswell and his Internet associates and been warning for weeks of such a Southeast Texas event on or around July 1. They got the target right on and missed the time by only 24 hours. The Iconoclast has since called for an investigation of suspicious Houston-area explosions that regularly resolved in record profits for Big Oil.

Buswell, Webster and The Iconoclast are a terrific trio who are defining the forward edge of the battle area for the 9/11 Truth Movement. Thankfully, they spend as much time trying to avert "the next 9/11" as they do looking back to the last 9/11. We should all hope that the story of their efforts spreads far and wide, and that Truth Movement leaders and members will emulate them.

La solidaridad como desinteresada relación por la transformación radical de la realidad

La lucha de l@s Zapatistas contra el opresivo y explotador estado de cosas, tanto en México como en todo el mundo, constituyó y continúa de constituyendo el esperanzador ejemplo de un “laboratorio autónomo indígena”, donde la democracia verdadera y directa se ejerce por tod@s y para tod@s.

Desde el Enero de 1994, cuando el EZLN apareció por primera vez en público, se hizo claro que sus demandas fundamentales se basaron en el rechazo de las relaciones de dominación, manipulación e imposición, el repudio de la propiedad de los medios de producción y la defensa de la autonomía en todos los aspectos de la vida.

Ciertamente, l@s indígenas Zapatistas han recorrido un largo camino en su esfuerzo por construir y desarrollar su autonomía: preparación de diez años por la formación del EZLN, aparición pública con armas, constitución de los Municipios Autónomos Rebeldes Zapatistas al principio y, posteriormente, de las Juntas de Buen Gobierno y de los Caracoles.

Reconocemos que este proceso era y continúa siendo difícil y complejo, pero, al mismo tiempo, comprobamos que no ha dejado ni un momento de desarrollarse, y desde luego dentro de un contexto político especialmente violento y peligroso: l@s Zapatistas no reivindican el poder, se niegan a transformarse en un partido político, se abstienen de los procesos electorales y rechazan toda intervención gubernamental en cualquier sector de su vida política y social.

Al contrario, enriquecen sus formas de autogobierno, refuerzan su organización comunitaria, impulsan la solidaridad y la participación equitativa de todos los miembros de la communidad, y especialmente de las mujeres, y preservan su objetivo de ampliar lo político y reducir lo militar, hasta hacerlo desaparecer.

Además, sus pensamientos y propuestas se profundizan continuamente, con intervenciones públicas sobre todas las cuestiónes en lo que concierne a la sociedad mexicana y mundial –manifestaciones, marchas, consultas locales e internationales, encuentros intergalácticos.

El discurso, la práctica y la realidad zapatista, interrelacionadas y autoalimentándose, su propuesta política y sus sueños, en general, responden a los deseos y las esperanzas de tod@s l@s que luchamos en nivel mundial por la subversión de la dominación capitalista y la propulsión de la autodeterminación.

Sin embargo, aunque la orientación zapatista se mantiene firme desde hace 14 años, las organizaciónes, los grupos, las “personalidades” y los formadores de la opinión pública, quienes de tiempo en tiempo se acercaron y acercan a este movimiento, no tienen la misma firmeza en lo que concierne a sus motivos y aspiraciónes.

Vanguardias de izquierda y ONGs de carácter paternalista de vez en cuando han intentado arrastrar a l@s Zapatistas detrás de su propio vehículo de usurero y sacar provechos y reconocimiento de una lucha que combate la explotación, la humillación, la muerte. Las primeras, están explotando la palabra zapatista, sus ideas y su sueño, adoptándola al crisol del capitalismo, a fin de negociar unas sillas de poder, y las segundas, están montando un escenario espectacular de auto-afirmación, con “dólares” de caridad, fotos de auto-promoción y desprecio profundo para los “indios ignorantes y politicamente y socialmente incultos”.

Al mismo tiempo, al lado de l@s Zapatistas estuvo y sigue estando gente libre e independiente, que no se afilia a ningún partido, pero de intenciones sinceras de escuchar y ser escuchada, de presentar propuestas e ideas, de reconocer errores y límites, de criticar, pero, sobre todo, de hacer autocrítica, de formar una palabra basada en la práctica; gente que lucha desde abajo por la liberación social y la autoorganización de las necesidades de la sociedad, tanto en México como en todo el mundo, y, hace años, anda junto con este movimiento tan especial y anti-convencional, con la sensación y la convicción que está construyendo una relación de respeto mutuo e interaccionado.

Entre est@s últim@s nos reconocemos nosotr@s mism@s. A través de iniciativas, colectivos, locales autogestionados y ocupas, o individualmente, como miembros del espacio anarquista, antiautoritario y libertario, expresamos nuestra solidaridad de hecho con l@s Zapatistas desde 1994 hasta el día de hoy, porque reconocemos que en Chiapas se crea una realidad con un contenido libertario, no sólo teórico, sino directamente visible y aplicable, un contenido de lucha y perspectiva para todas y todos l@s que resisten a la barbarie del capitalismo, a la intermediación política, económica e ideológica en cualquier parte del mundo.

De acuerdo con esta realidad, caminamos al mismo paso con el sentido anti-vanguardista en lo político y anti-jerárquico de l@s Zapatistas, promovemos procesos de democracia directa y tentativas autoorganizadas, optamos divulgar tanto su palabra como la nuestra a través de redes de contra-información autónomos, y tratamos de organizar nuestra resistencia contra el saqueo de la sociedad y de la naturaleza, en el trabajo, en el barrio, en la ciudad, en la vida cotidiana, a nivel local, regional y/o internacional.

Y eso, porque percibimos la solidaridad como una relación dialéctica, un termino de libertad y un medio de lucha por una vida que no se resume en lo “¡estudia, trabaja, vota, consume!”. Sentimos también que, como l@s Zapatistas, formamos parte de un procedimiento global de rebeldía, en lo que intentamos crear un espacio donde cada uno y cada una de nosotr@s podrá escuchar y proponer, avanzando hacia la formación de una identidad colectiva que no dependa de partidos políticos, burocracias sindicalistas, “intelectuales iluminados”, profesionales de la política y ONGs bien financiadas.

En este procedimiento, deseamos participar de manera activa y desde abajo, formando espacios de libertad para el desarrollo de la creatividad personal y colectiva, reforzando las redes anti-jerárquicas y las formas de comunicación horizontal, promoviendo la autodeterminación individual y colectiva y luchando contra la mentira organizada del poder, los papeles fraccionados, el individualismo, el consumismo, el cinismo, la dictadura del espectáculo, la mediación del comercio en todas las actividades humanas y la farsa electoral de la clase política, sin importar el vestido que ella escoja.

Es decir, consideramos la lucha de l@s Zapatistas como una parte de la guerra social global y de muchos niveles en contra de toda forma de explotación, dominación y dirección, en contra de la descomposición de lo humano, del poder político y económico, de las instituciones jerárquicas y los mecanismos mediáticos de control y represión, por una vida de acción por iniciativa propia, libertad, justicia, dignidad y auto-institución.

Los últimos meses, después de una convocatoria, colectivos y compañer@s del espacio anarquista, antiautoritario y libertario, y adherentes a la zezta internazional hemos formado una iniciativa la cual organizó en Atenas, el 25-26 de Marzo, una jornada de contrainformación, con proyección de vídeos sobre la situación en Chiapas, Oaxaca y Atenco, y una manifestación de solidaridad con l@s Zapatistas, l@s indígenas huelguistas de hambre de este período y l@s pres@s políticos de México.

Además, decidimos enviar este texto a colectivos y grupos por el mundo que han expresado su solidaridad desinteresada con la lucha zapatista, esperando que el constituirá el inicio de un diálogo sobre la importancia y el sentido que ellos le dan a la solidaridad con este movimiento, un espacio de encuentro de percepciones, acercamiento de experiencias y resistencias, y, además, el avance de la solidaridad, la colectividad y la insumisión; con la expectación constante que las luchas autoorganizadas parciales lograrán a tomar conciencia de la dimensión global de la barbarie y conquistarán la palabra y la práctica de una solidaridad que se expresa por hombres, mujeres y niños en resistencia, vivan donde vivan, hagan lo que hagan.
