La piccola squadra di organizzatori del Veggie Pride di Roma esprime l'augurio condiviso che l'anno 2008 porti dei cambiamenti importanti nella situazione degli animali. Speriamo che quest'anno sarà ricco di solidarietà verso tutti gli animali e che saremo ancora più numerosi a manifestare per i loro diritti e quello dei veg*ani e delle veg*ane il 17 maggio 2008.

Siamo molto lieti di annunciarvi che nel 2008 il Veggie Pride sarà internazionale e che due cortei si svolgeranno contemporaneamente a Parigi e a Roma il 17 maggio.

Speriamo che il Veggie Pride italiano incontrerà un grande successo e darà lo slancio a veg*ani di altri Paesi per organizzare nuovi Veggie Pride.

Perché questo Veggie Pride 2008 abbia successo, abbiamo bisogno del vostro aiuto. Se vi riconoscete nel manifesto http://www.veggiepride.it/home/manifesto.html, potete:

- preparare cartelloni e striscioni che sostengono il vegetarismo e il veganismo esclusivamente per gli animali (come spiegato nelle consegne di svolgimento: http://www.veggiepride.it/home/faq/svolgimento.html);
- partecipare allo happening e alla lettura di testi che si svolgeranno dopo il corteo;
- chiedere alle associazioni alle quali aderite di sostenere il Veggie Pride;

La petite équipe de l'organisation de la Veggie Pride de Paris partage avec vous le souhait que l'année 2008 voie des changements majeurs pour la situation des animaux. Nous espérons que cette année sera riche en solidarité avec tous les animaux et que nous serons encore plus nombreux à venir manifester pour leurs droits et ceux des végétarien(ne)s le 17 mai 2008, à Paris.

Nous sommes très heureux de vous annoncer qu'en 2008, la Veggie Pride sera internationale ; en effet, l'initiative de militants italiens a permis l'organisation de la première Veggie Pride à l'étranger :

Nous espérons que la Veggie Pride italienne, prévue le 17 Mai 2008 à Rome rencontrera un grand succès et donnera l'impulsion à d'autres végétariens étrangers pour organiser une Veggie Pride dans leur pays.

Il n’est pas nécessaire d’habiter en région parisienne pour participer. Si vous y habitez, vous pouvez aussi vous proposer pour offrir un hébergement à une ou plusieurs personnes le soir de la Veggie Pride.

The organizing committees of the Paris and Rome Veggie Pride demonstrations share with you their hope that 2008 will see important changes in the situation of animals. We hope that this year will be rich in solidarity with all animals and that we will come in still greater numbers to demonstrate for their rights and for those of vegetarians next May 17th.

We are very happy to announce that in 2008 the Veggie Pride will be international; in effect, thanks to the initiative of Italian activists will be held this year the first Veggie Pride outside of France. Thus two demonstrations will take place at the same moment, at Paris and at Rome, on Saturday May 17th.

We hope that the Italian Veggie Pride will be a great success and will encourage vegetarians from other countries to organize their own Veggie Pride demonstrations.
